It's time for the second edition of our spotlight blog and this week we're bringing you bearded queen realness with a hint of filth for good measure - enjoy!
BWD: First things first; introductions, who the hell are ya?
Sodomy: Hey, I’m Ophelia Von Sodomy (Sodomy if you buy me a drink first) I’m a “drag Queen” / gender fuck based in Manchester and Sheffield, inspired by the Leather & Rubber fetish scene. Hoping to perform in other cities!
BWD: How long have you been performing?
Sodomy: I’ve been performing for around a year now!
BWD: What's been your favourite performance so far?Sodomy: My favourite performance i have done so far has got to be my last two slots at the “Glitterfye presents twisted Disney”
BWD: Living for how body confident you are! (Plus we love a bit of leather when it's done right)
BWD: Show us one of your most fabulous looks?
BWD: Who are your biggest idols?
BWD: Tell us something absolutely random about yourself?
BWD: Any advice for someone wanting to embrace the art of drag?
Sodomy: All drag is valid, be creative and different! Don’t let anyone tell you different, be supportive of your sisters! There’s no correct way to do drag, do what makes you feel free and fabulous.
BWD: Couldn't agree more, drag is an art form and there's no limits!
BWD: One song to be your anthem, go!
Sodomy: At the moment it has to be Miley Cyrus - Mother’s Daughter. An Anthem of all time has to be Lady Gaga - Marry The Night or Kate Bush - Running up that hill (A deal with god).
BWD: A good mix of queens there.....gotta say Marry The Night comes out on top for us!
BWD: If you had to recommend us a fellow fierce entertainer, who should we hit up?
Sodomy: It has to be my sister Oxxy (@itsoxxymoron)!
BWD: Finally, what's your fave design from our collection?
Sodomy: Either the Fallen Angel or Madonna & Child
